What is Structured Cabling?
Structured cabling is the standardized physical infrastructure of corporate networks — cables, connectors, racks, outlets — designed and installed per international standards (EIA/TIA 568) and Brazilian standards (ABNT NBR 14565).
For multinational enterprises operating in Brazil, structured cabling projects in Brazilian facilities require Brazilian engineering registration (CREA) and ART (Anotação de Responsabilidade Técnica) — legal documents that only locally-licensed engineers can produce. Without ART, the project lacks legal validity and may void insurance.
Pilar TI provides end-to-end structured cabling: from initial site survey, through engineering design with ART, to installation by certified technicians, to final Fluke certification of every link. Backed by 15-year warranty on labor, with extension to 25-year warranty available through manufacturer partners (Furukawa, CommScope, Panduit).
